- The U.S. General Services Administration announces the solicitation of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for repair and alteration projects throughout central and southern Indiana. The purpose of the contract is to establish terms and conditions upon which the Contractor(s) will affect repairs and alterations to Government owned and leased buildings within the geographic boundaries established in the contract. Contractor(s), under delivery orders issued by the Contracting Officer and Designated Ordering Officials, will complete projects that include general carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing tasks. In addition, some orders may include the requirement to provide design capability in the form of, but not limited to, drawings or sketches to describe proposed repair and alteration projects and to provide descriptions or specifications for proposed materials or equipment. It is the Government’s intention to make multiple awards. The guaranteed minimum for each contract(s) awarded will be $10,000.00. This procurement is open to all business concerns in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification Code(NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. This is a negotiated procurement; there will not be a public bid opening. The solicitation will be available on or about May 20, 2009. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the FedBizOpps (FBO). FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with CCR(Central Contractor’s Registration) database. You may access CCR at the following URL, www.bpn.gov. Once you register with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedBizOpps via the following URL, www.fbo.gov. Also, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors were required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be June 25, 2009 at 3:00pm(CST) All offers are to be submitted to General Services Administration, Attn: Debbie Ethell, 520 South 8th Street, Springfield, Illinois 62703.
