- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, CA (NSWC - PHD), plans to procure as other than full and open competition from L3 Communications, SPD Electrical Systems, Philadelphia, PA, upgrades to the Power Node Control Center (PNCC) in the Surface Warfare Engineering Facility (SWEF) located at NSWC - PHD. The upgrade effort shall configure the PNCC unit to be identical to the configuration planned for installation onboard USS MOBILE BAY (CG-53) AND USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG-58), which will, in turn, allow more realistic tests to be performed prior to shipboard installations. L3 Communications, SPD Electrical Systems, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), is the sole owner of the proprietary data rights and equipment drawings for the Power Node Control Center (PNCC), and who maintains the manufacturing and production capabilities necessary to support the PNCC.Any responsible source having the technical capabilities to meet the requirement described above may submit an offer which will be considered to: Diane Sennett, NSWC PHD, 4363 Missile Way, Bldg. 1215, Port Hueneme, CA 93043-4308, or via email to Diane.Sennett@navy.mil.
