- Data Management and Technical Assistance WISEWOMAN - Program The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide system support and technical assistance to facilitate collection and analysis of standardized data elements. These data will be used to evaluate accomplishments and to provide extensive technical assistance and consultation that promote program improvement and efficiency to the CDC WISEWOMAN program and its grantees. Standardized minimum data elements (MDEs) are reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention by WISEWOMAN grantees. The MDEs consist primarily of information about screening values, personal health history, family healthy history, lifestyle intervention services, and demographic data of women who are provided screening and lifestyle intervention services for heart disease and stroke prevention with funds provided through the WISEWOMAN Program. The NAICS codes for this RFP are 518210. The Period of Performance will be a basic year with four (4) option years contract with a 12-month period of performance for each option. This requirement is being procured as a total small business set-aside competition. The purpose of this acquisition is to (1) Prepare, maintain and enhance data systems and procedures to collect and report program data to CDC and grantees. (2) Perform data analysis and reporting. (3) Develop and host the web site for data input. (4) Provide technical assistance to CDC and grantees (5) Provide analytical support to special projects. All deliverables to be disseminated to the programs or the public will comply with Section 508 (29 U.S.C. 794d) standards and requirements of the Rehabilitation Act. The resultant award is expected to be a Cost Plus Award Fee Contract. The competitive RFP and all questions and responses related to this procurement will be made available under RFP number 2009-N-11202. This requirement is contingent upon the availability of funds. This will be a performance based contract. The RFP is anticipated for release on or about April 27, 2008. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests will not be honored and no offerors list will be maintained. Notifications will not be sent to the offerors regarding the issuance of the solicitation nor any of its amendments. It is the offerors' responsibility to check this website.
