- MODIFICATION TO CURRENT PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Government's requirement has increased and two new FMS line items will be added to this solicitation at posting. There will be an additional line item solicited for a quantity of 300 each. The total solicited between four line items will be 870 each. Solicitation posting date is being extended due to the large increase to 5 May 09. Solicitation close date will be moved to approximately 8 June 09 and award Aug 09. SPRTA1-09-R-0342 FD2030-09-80917. New Manufacture NSN: 2840-01-456-0371NZ P/N: 4084790-01 Noun: Augmenter Nozzle Quantity: Best Estimated Quantity at the time of notice: 570 each total Line item 0001: 45 Each Line item 0002: 45 Each Line item 0003: 480 Each Applicable to: F100/220 Engine Destination: FMS locations Delivery: 31 Dec 2009 Qualification Requirements do not apply. This is a critical safety item The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 07 Apr 09. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 07 May 09. The anticipated award date will be July 09. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Copies of the solicitation must be obtained from the FedBizOpps website at www.eps.gov. Data must be obtained from the TeDs website at www.dodteds.com only after the solicitation has been issued. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
