- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Digestive, Diabetes & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to procure the following items: Brand Name or Equal to BioVision MAC 6000 Controller and microscope automation equipment with the following specifications: Ludl Automation - MAC 6000 Controller and microscope automation equipment including: high resolution xystage (rotary encoders), Z focus motor with linear encoder, Dual filter wheels, Brightfield shutter, microscope adapters and holders for well plates, petri dishes and slides. Metamorph Microscopy SW - MetaMorph Premier Software includes all device drivers, and optional drop-ins. QImaging Driver Comes with the following application modules: Screening modules (50004-50005), Neurite Outgrowth Application Module, Angiogenesis Application Module, Count Nuclei and Cell Scoring Application Modules, Multi Wavelength Cell Scoring Application Module, Cell Cycle Application Module. DA/FI/TR/Cy5-4X4M-B - This 9-filter "Sedat" quad-band set is designed for high-speed, sequential imaging of DAPI, FITC, TRITC, and Cy5 (and other key fluorophores). NO Filter Cube. ET - Chroma Filter sets - Chroma ET-DAPI (49000), ET-GFP (FITC/Cy2) (49002), mounted on Zeiss Axioline 5FL Slider (91012). L200ZS3 - Lumen 200 Illumination Systems with Manual Light Attenuator, 3 Meter Light Guide, Microscope Adapter, and two 200 Watt Bulb. RET-SRV-F-M-12-C - Digital Camera Retiga-SRV FAST 1394, Mono, 12-bit, -30C regulated controllable cooling. Installation & Training - Installation and Training for all BioVision components includes custom development of macros to interface Metamorph software with new Automated imaging system. Shipping and handling - The "equal" item must meet the characteristics of the brand name item to be acceptable for award. Basis for Award: Offerors must provide descriptive literature or other material that demonstrates their offer meets the forgoing requirements. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer fully meets the requirements of the solicitation, provides the best value, with price and technical factors equally important in award evaluation. Offerors may request a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIHDK2009169A will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ.
