Description

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Mt. Weather, VA, intends to award a sole source contract to Mobat USA of Talahassee, FL for a 1KW Antenna Control Unit (Part #FTN6074). Mobat USA is the sole supplier of the antenna control unit, which is required to interface with existing MICOM - RM 120 - 1KW HF Radio Systems. Accordingly, MOBAT is the only source that can satisfy this requirement. This product is considered commercial in nature. T his announcement is for informational purposes only. No Request for Quotation will be provided, and telephone requests will not be honored. All inquiries must be addressed in writing via the e-mail link below by the specified response date. Any response must show clear and convincing evidence that the responder can meet the requirements listed herein, and competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
