- The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to construct 5.17 km of cold recycled asphalt base, grade and drainage work, placement of aggregate base course, hot asphaltic concrete pavement and miscellaneous construction in accordance with the specification and design drawings for Project N8077(1-1)2,4: N8078(1-1)2,4, Dine College Loop, located in Tsaile, Arizona. The 5.17km includes access roads and parking lot renovation at the following location: Dine College Administration, Gorman Classroom, and Student Dormitory at Dine College, and reconstruction of acceleration and deceleration lanes on BIA Route N12. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is planning a firm, fixed-price construction contract. The solicitation is unrestricted and is solicited on an open market basis. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is more than $10,000,000. Bidders are strongly urged to conduct an on site visit. All interested firms shall submit a written request for a solicitation package to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, Attention Ella M. Dempsey, 301 West Hill Street, P. O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305 or fax your request to the Attention of Ella M. Dempsey at (505) 863-8382. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Technical inquiries shall be submitted in writing ten (15) calendar days before the bid opening date of May 29, 2009. A Bid Bond of 20 percent of the bid price is required; and upon award 100 percent Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Liability Insurance are required. The bid opening for Invitation For Bid (IFB) No. RMN00090053 is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. (local time), May 29, 2008, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, Division of Acquisition, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor, Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Faxed IFBs will not be accepted. Submit bid packages to the following address: BIA, Navajo Region, Division of Acquisition, Attention: Ella M. Dempsey, P.O. Box 1060, 301 W. Hill Ave., Rm. 346, Gallup, NM, 87301.
