Description

Funded in part by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 For Information Purposes Only This procurement will be competed among existing GSA, Region 7, Multiple Award Construction IDIQ contractors. The selected IDIQ contractor will be issued/awarded a Task Order to perform the following requirements: Estimated Task Order Value: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 Completion Date: April 2010 Description of Requirements: Upgrade the life-safety systems, and realign and upgrade tenant space. This is the last phase of a 3-phase renovation program and will include, but not be limited to the following work: extend the new Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler systems in all remaining spaces (approximately 100,000 square feet); complete realignment/stacking of the new Telecom & Electrical rooms on floors, 2, 4 & 5; build-out new circuit library on 3rd floor (approximately 5,000 square feet); build-out new Grand Jury suite on 4th floor (approximately 5,000 square feet); build-out new US Attorney trial-prep suite on 5th floor (approximately 3,000 square feet); build-out two (2) new chambers (for circuit judges) on the 4th and 5th floors, respectively (approximately 3,500 square feet each); build-out of new Jury Deliberation Room on the 4th floor (approximately 1000 square feet), and refurbishment of historic courtroom.
