Description

USDA, Rural Development requires the services of a private attorney or law firm to provide legal services in connection with foreclosure and bankruptcy with or without judgment, and/or actions to recover possession related to Section 502 (Single Family Housing) debts to the United States of America, acting through the United States Department of Agriculture. This type of contract has been utilized in the State of New Jersey since 1988. All litigation, enforcement and collection actions on the part of the contractor shall be in compliance and consistent with all Federal, State and local statutes, regulations and ethical standards which apply to the liquidation of loan security and collection of debts. All work must be performed by attorneys who are in good standing with the NJ Bar Association. All work to be performed in accordance with time frames stated in Statement of Work and consistent with State statutes. This requiement will be for one base year and four (4) one year options.
