Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Division Newport, RI is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract for (4 ea) multi-channel voltage/current sensors. This acquisition is anticipated to be 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 335999, size standard is 500 employees. Additional information and specifications will be provided in solicitation N66604-09-Q-3342, which is anticipated to be released on or about 23 April 2009. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation, evaluation shall be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. Products to be delivered ten to twelve weeks after date of contract, FOB:Dest Dresden, NY. Proposed contract to be awarded using FAR Part 13.5. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPS and NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own! copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
