- Description
- The Department of the Army, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) intends to issue a solicitation for acetylene, several types of argon, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, helium, nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur hexafluoride, zero air, and propane for serval organizations located at WSMR. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside procurement, the NAICS code is 325120 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The perspective contractor must be able to satisfy an emergency requirement within four hours of the request. The forthcoming solicitation will result in a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a base period of performance from 1 June 2009 through 31 May 2010 with the possibility of four one-year option periods. The average monthly quantity is as follows: 5 Acetylene, 12 Argon, 15 Carbon dioxide, 2 Helium UHP 244L, 7 Nitrogen UHP 200, 13 Oxygen 2 CGA, 1 Propane 100 lbs, 12 Sulfur Hexafluoride, 12 Zero Air, 2 Carbon monoxide calibration gas. The Contractor shall deliver items on an as needed basis. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to the desired acquisitions. The solicition will be posted to this website on or around 24 April 2009. Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must be registered in the CCR database to receive a contract award. If the offeror does not become registered in the CCR database within 4 days after receiving notification from the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
