Description

RSL-I IFB.pdf Renovate Science Laboratories - Phase I (RSL-I) The scope of this project includes renovation of laboratory and support space in two separate buildings and is scheduled to begin construction July 2009 at Brookhaven National laboratory (BNL). The estimated construction cost is $8.5 - $13.5 million. This project will upgrade and rehabilitate existing laboratory and support space located in the D-Wing of Building 815 - Multi-Program Lab/Office Building and the East Wing of Building 480 - Material Science Building. The scope of the project includes demolition and installation of new ceilings, flooring, HVAC systems, electrical power and lighting, fire sprinklers, plumbing, laboratory finishes and casework, and architectural surface upgrades. This will be an unrestricted procurement conducted through a qualified Invitation for Bids (IFB), with award being made to the lowest qualified bidder as described in the IFB. This is a Davis-Bacon covered (prevailing wage) procurement. Fill in the required information. Click on "Construction Drawings" and "Project Specifications". NOTE: It is the responsibility of all bidders to check this solicitation posting for the most current amendments, indicating revisions to drawings and specifications, which can then be found at the above website. All amendments posted to this solicitation prior to the bids due date are hereby incorporated and made part of this solicitation. The IFB for this project is attached here in. It may also be requested by mail, email or FAX. All requests must contain your company name and address, requester's telephone number, FAX and email address. The IFB will be available electronically (.pdf format) or hard copy (by mail only). A pre-bid meeting and inspection of the job-site will be held on May 7, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the large Conference Room, Building 490 (Medical Research Center). See the attached Instructions for Bidders for the required pre-registration instructions, in order to be able to gain access to BNL for this meeting.
