- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dept Q52 has been tasked with performing Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) measurements for Navy shipboard systems and will be acquiring on a sole source basis one (1) Field Monitor with Bench Case, PN HI-6100 OPT1; one (1) Field Probe Kit, 10KHZ-1GHZ, 800 V/M, PN HI-6022FM; one (1) Field Probe Kit, 100KHZ-6GHZ, 800 V/M, PN HI-6005FM; one (1) Field Probe Kit, 10MHZ-40GHZ, 800 V/M, PN HI-6053FM; and one (1) Probe Stand, PN H-49126. To maintain acc! uracy and maximize utility while performing EMI testing, the monitor and probe system being purchased must be compatible with the FM5004 monitor and probe system that Q52 presently owns. The monitor and probe system must have the ability to be interface with data collection equipment and be user friendly. It must also be able to measure a wide range of frequencies (100 kilohertz to 40 gigahertz) and be able to measure RF field levels as high as 800 volts per meter. The ETS-Lindgren HI-6100 system with matching probes is compatible with the FM5004, therefore the requirement is being sole sourced to ETS-Lindgren, 1301 Arrow Point Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613-6936. The Request For Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-09-Q-3022. The required delivery is 30-45 days after receipt of order. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The NAICS Code is 334515 and the FSC Code is 6625. Pricing will be FOB! Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Receiving Officer, 6220 Tisdale Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 27April 2009, 9:00 AM local time. Anticipated award date is 30 April 2009.
