Synopsis:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28. FAR clauses and provisions are available electronically at www.arnet.gov. This solicitation is a request for quote, Q4810090029. This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 562910, and the size standard is $14 million. Requirement: See attached scope of work and photos Delivery Schedule: Work to be completed within 45 days after award of contract SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2009 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE LOCOMOTIVE SHOP AT STEAMTOWN NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, 150 S. WASHINGTON AVENUE, SCRANTON, PA 18503. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, applies. This may be completed electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov.
