Description
The NAICS for this procurement is 541330. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Order under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00024-07-G-5438 on a sole source basis to BAE Systems, Land and Armaments LP, Armament Systems Division, 163 Rochester Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40214-2683. The Contractor shall develop the Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), develop and produce one set of first article test items and test them on a MK110 gun mount, provide technical support to the Government in presenting the changes to the Software Safety System Technical Review Panel (SSSTRP) and Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB), update the applicable drawing packages, vendor control or specification control drawings, Interface Control Drawings and Cable Interconnect Drawings (if necessary) for the gun mount on the various ship classes and update the MK110 MOD 0 Technical ! Manual Set to incorporate these changes. Period of performance is award through 30 September 2010. BAE is the sole designer, developer and current producer of the MK110 Gun System. These systems are highly complex, and only BAE has the unique knowledge, experience, technical skills, and tooling required to build, overhaul, repair and maintain these particular weapons.
