Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division plans to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc., 65 Spit Brook Road, Nashua, NH 03060 for contained sustainment of the Quick Reaction Dismounted CREW System. The BOA will include support for spares, repairs and engineering support services. Procurements under the BOA will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the required Level III drawing rights to solicit on the basis of full and open competition. Alpha contracting procedures will be utilized and a formal solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may inquire into the specific terms and conditions included in the BOA; such inquiries will be considered by this agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The POC is Ms. Diane L.
