Description
A Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) is planned for the an Army and Air Force Aero-medically certified SUCTION APPARATUS, SURGICAL with the following Performance Requirements: •Programmable •Battery 11-30 volts or ac operated •For use in hospitals, ambulances, field and in military aero-medical aircraft with no external pack •Operational from 115/230 volts ac; 50/400 hz with separate ac power supply furnished; 12 vdc with separate cable •Portable •For gastrointestinal drainage A CEC (also known as a “Contingency Contract”) is an acquisition strategy by which the Government enters a contractual arrangement to buy ACCESS to sustainment materiel to support military forces during contingency operations in accordance with the latest Defense Planning Guidance. Humanitarian relief efforts and other national emergencies may also be supported by this contract. In order to be considered eligible for award, an offeror must submit proof of both Army and Air Force aero-medical certification for the Suction Apparatus being proposed at RFP closing estimated to be June 11, 2009. The Department of Defense is willing to pay Inventory and Management Costs for the vendor to build and hold raw material and/or partial manufactured sub-assemblies inventory necessary to meet a time phased delivery schedule of 2,000 over a 90 day period as follows: Day of OrderQuantity to be Delivered 0 – 15160 16 – 30648 31 – 45 42 46 – 60150 61 – 90 1,000
