- Description
- This is a market survey to locate sources who can provide-manufacture, deliver, and provide pricing for the following Communications Equipment: Cables for Antennas (Coaxial Cable RG8) Quantity: 2,370 Meters Conductor: 2.62mm Solid Bare Copper Dielectric: 7.25mm Solid PE Shield: Bare Copper Braid 95% Coverage Jacket: 10.3mm Black PVC Broad Band Agile Folded Dipole Antenna Broadband Folded Dipole Antenna is to be designed for operation from 1.8 to 30MHz. The antenna is to come assembled and pretuned so no measuring or cutting is required. It is to be fabricated with #14 stranded copper weld wire, complete with a high impact plastic balloon and matching network. Must contain single feed line operation for all bands. It must be capable of being installed as a flat-top antenna, 5m (15ft) minimum, 8-12m (25-40ft) average. Inverted V or a slope with the low end as close as 1.8m (6ft) to the ground. Radiator length: 27.4m (90ft) Copper weld antenna wire Radiation: Omni directional (Inverted V or Sloper) Feed line: 50 Ohms Connector: SO-239 SWR: 1.4:1 average depending on factors Power: 1kW, 2kW PEP CW/SSB Spreaders: 46cm (18in) Lightning Rod The lightning rod is to be formed by a conical body spheroid, dielectric separation of central or tip of the mast lightning rod through a nucleus of high impedance, this allows the formation of the corona effect, which is increased by priming the device HV (High Voltage), Which is to be robust and immune to failure. Physical Characteristics -Corps, Central and flagpole connector mixed quality -316 stainless steel prepared to withstand highly corrosive and abrasive environments. -Nucleus high impedance manufactured in epoxy resin biphenyl capable of withstanding high temperatures, humidity and anti silanized provides a high resistance to the rays Ultra Violet (UV). Gross Weight 2.9 lbs Net weight 2.1 Kg Height: 0.42m Diameter: 0.30m Spare parts and Accessories Contractor Furnished Spare Parts (CFSP) is required as well as installation accessories. The value of these spares should not exceed 5% of the equipment costs. The parts list is to be based on the vendors recommendation for the type of quality of equipment purchased. In addition, the vendor shall provide the required testing tools and equipment necessary to conduct maintenance processes. Delivery Delivery is required within 120 days after date of award. This equipment is being used extensively by countries with forces that are deploying to drug interdiction programs and the Global War on Terror.
