Description

RECOVERY- IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BYTHE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, PUB L. 111-5, THE GOVERNMENT POSTS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN 8(A) SOLE SOURCE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO WINDAMIR, 2005 Merideth, McDonough, GA THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, and applicable licenses and permits necessary to ensure that the Repair to the Fire Deluge System in Building 1208 is performed at Shaw AFB, South Carolina in a manner that will restore a neat and professional appearance of base infrastructure. The fire deluge system design will include the calculations for flow and pressure requirements necessary to support the facilities being fed by the fire deluge pump house. The fire deluge system in Building 1208 supports Hangar 1200, Hangar 1511 and Building 1518. Pursuant to section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 627 (a)), and in accordance with CFR 124-1-1(c) and FAR 19.8, the Small Business Administration has accepted this requirement on behalf of Windamir.
