Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract for the supply and installation of 251 commercial size electric clothes dryers for multiple bachelor housing buildings in the Norfolk, VA area under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 423620. The size standard is 100 employees. The delivery period is within 90 days following contract award. The anticipated award date is on or about 20 May 2009. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is N00189-09-T-0260. The RFQ (including the Statement of Work), any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. Once available, the RFQ will be posted to this website. The RFQ will be available on or about 22 April 2009. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Government. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.! gov. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
