Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following:TECOM Airborne Broadband Omni-directional Antenna Part No. 825771-001, Type 201564-3,Quantity: 1 each, or comparable product that meets the below Government MinimumSpecifications. WARRANTY: Offeror shall provide a copy of their Warranty with their quote. Offerors shall provide descriptive literature including specifications if quoting on acomparable product. GOVERNMENT MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BROADBAND OMNI-DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA:ALTITUDE: 0 - 300 meters above MSL; OPERATING TEMPERATURE:-8 to +55 deg C; TYPE: Broadband Discone based construction; POLARIZATION: 45 degree slant-linear to enable reception of vertical, horizontal, andcircular polarizations at equal power; WIND RESISTANCE: Maximum of 145 MPH; HUMIDITY: 100% condensing per MIL-STD-810F, Fig 507.4-1;VIBRATION: MIL-E-5400T, Fig 2, Curve Iva; SHOCK:10 shocks, 10G amp minimum, 3axis, 11ms per axis per MIL-E-5400T Para 3.2.24.6.1;HEIGHT: Minimum: 3 inches. Maximum: 10 inches; DIAMETER: Minimum: 4 inches. Maximum: 12 inches; WEIGHT: Minimum: 0 lbs. Maximum: 10 lbs; POWER HANDLING: Min: 0 watts. Max: 2 watts CW; VSWR: less than 7:1 maximum. No minimum; RF CONNECTOR: Single type N socket; FREQUENCY RANGE: 0.5 - 18 GHz; andGAIN: Freq (GHz) 0.5, Minimum (dBi)-7, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 1.0, Minimum (dBi)-6, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 2.0, Minimum (dBi)-2, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 4.0, Minimum (dBi)-2, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 6.0, Minimum (dBi)-2, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 8.0, Minimum (dBi)-2, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 12.0, Minimum (dBi)-2, Maximum (dBi) +3 Freq (GHz) 18.0, Minimum (dBi)-2, Maximum (dBi) +3DELIVERYAll items shall be delivered FOB Destination to NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Florida 32899.Delivery is required 6 months or sooner after date of award.Selection and award will be made on an aggregate basis to the lowest priced, technicallyacceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of informationsubmitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to showthat the product offered meets the Government's requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-32.The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334220 and750 Employees respectively.
