- This a combined synopsis/solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is FA8540-09-Q-23375. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. Size standard is 23M. WR-ALC/542 CBSG plans the purchase the following items: 1. MATLAB QTY 2 EA. 2. SIMULINK QTY 2 EA. 3. SIGNAL PROCESSING BLOCK SET, QTY 2 EA. 4. STATEFLOW 2 EA. 5. SIGNAL PROCESSING TOOLBOX QTY 2 EA. 6. STATISTICS TOOLBOX QTY 2 EA. 7. FIRST YEAR MATHWORKS SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SERVICE QTY 2 EA. Required delivery is NLT/14 MAY 2009, F.O.B. 579 SMXS/FLT D, Attention: Steven Paul, 420 Richard Ray Blvd, Suite 100, Robins AFB, GA 31098-1640. It is expected to place a purchase order with The MathWorks, Inc. They are the only known source for these items because they are the manufacturer. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply.
