Description

Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 USC 2304 (c), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Defenshield Inc., 14 Corporate Circle, East Syracuse, NY 13057-1133 for 8 DS-004 Rear Swivel Casters to compliment Mobile Defensive Fighting Position (MDFP) stand-alone shields currently in use on the Pentagon Reservation. The DS-004 casters will allow these shields to be operational mobile on unimproved surfaces such as gravel, sand, grass, and rougher surfaces. The casters are 3 inch in diameter, 4.5 inches in height, 1.5 inches in width and weighs 10 lbs. The assembly units consist of a customized bracket and caster wheels. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
