- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a Request for Proposal to modify existing contract N00024-06-C-2222, on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, Inc. (NGSB), P.O. Box 149 Pascagoula, MS 39568-0149, to include the construction of the LPD 26 Amphibious Transport Dock Ship and include options for the advance procurement of long-lead-time material and construction of the LPD 27 Amphibious Transport Dock Ship. NGSB is the only source with the requisite knowledge and experience required to complete construction of these San Antonio (LPD 17) Class ships. This notification is issued for subcontracting purposes only. See Numbered Note 22 *****
