Description
Solicitation STATEMENT OF WORK 56 EMS/MXMWPC High Pressure Air Compressor Luke Air Force Base 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, material, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to install new high pressure system in utility room at Luke AFB, Building 1246. All installation including but not limited to piping, electrical, electrical supplies, labor and air test shall be included. 1.2 EQUIPMENT REMOVAL: The Contractor shall be responsible for the installation/modification of all equipment and the facility necessary for this operation, in accordance with local, state, municipal and federal building codes. Contractor shall provide information on initial warranty period covering equipment and installation. 1.3 NEW EQUIPMENT/INSTALLATION: Contractor shall meet or exceed the specifications of the following listed items. Should the contractor provide an "or equal" please provide all necessary specifications to determine equivlancy. 1.3.1 Compressor, Reciprocation, Bauer Model IVE150II E3, 4 stage, continuous-duty rated, air cooled, pressure lubricated, or equivalent. 1.3.2 Electronic Moisture Monitor, SECURUSS II IP42, or equivalent 1.3.3 All Installation, including all piping and electrical supplies, labor, and air test as applicable but not limited to. 1.4 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO MEET OR EXCEED: 1.4.1 The system shall be able to be regulated to 3,000 psi with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi. 1.4.2 The capacity shall be 17.5 SCFM with a charging rate of 21 SCFM referenced to standard inlet conditions and 80% of compressors maximum operating pressure. 1.4.3 The compressor shall maintain the referenced PSIG and SCFM with a +/-5% Tolerance. 1.4.4 The volume shall be sufficient to maintain the psi during a test lasting 1 hour. 1.4.5 The system shall be equipped with an automatic start/stop control. 1.4.6 The power requirement for operation is 460/3/60. 1.4.7 The ambient temperature shall range between 41 to 113 degrees F. 1.4.8 The system shall fit into a room that is 19' by 18'. 1.4.9 The system shall use existing plumbing in operational bay or be able to be utilized in two locations in operational bay. 1.5 REGULATIONS: The Contractor shall obtain all permits; give all necessary notices; pay all license fees; and comply with all Municipal, Local, State, Federal laws; relating to public health or applicable to the business carried out under this agreement. 1.6 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: The Contractor shall, at all times perform work and take steps required to prevent any interference or disturbances to the ecological balance of the environment. The Contractor shall use good management practices to protect air, water, land and wildlife and to prevent noise, solid waste or hazardous chemicals from disturbing the environment. 1.7 LUKE REGULATIONS: The Contractor shall properly handle all waste materials, empty shipping containers, etc. and dispose of such, OFF LUKE AIR FORCE BASE PROPERTY in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, County and Municipal laws. 1.7 LUKE POINT OF CONTACT: The point of contact (POC)s for this contract will be: MSgt Renae Newsome Phone: 623-856-3232 Email: Renae.Newsome@luke.af.mil TSgt Kurt Klosowski Phone: 623-856-5895 Email: Kurt.Klosowski@luke.af.mil SSgt Dustin Walker Phone: 623-856-5895 Email: Dustin.Walker@luke.af.mil 1.8 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall coordinate with the POCs at least one day in advance to be sure access to the area is permitted. Also, contractor shall be required to comply with base access procedures to include having Current US Government ID, Insurance, and vehicle registration.
