- Blue Coat bid schedule J&A document This acquisition is issued unrestricted. This acquisition is on open market acquisition using a combination of FAR Parts 12 and 13. Therefore, any quotation based upon a multiple-award schedule, government-wide acquisition contract (MAS-GWAC), or a GSA/FSS schedule contract will be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for contract award. Furthermore, any quotation based upon a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will also be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. The Defense Logistics Agency, Contracting Services Office-Battle Creek has a requirement for Blue Coat web proxy server hardware, supporting software and incidental support services as set forth on the attached Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheet. A copy of the required FAR 6.302-1(c) brand-name justification and approval document is attached to this FEDBIZOPS announcement. Inspection, acceptance and F.O. B. are at Destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. The required delivery for line items 0001 through 0009 is 30 days after receipt of a signed order. The required period of performance for item numbers 0010 and 0011 is no later than July 30, 2009. The required period of performance for item 0012 is no later than 75 days after receipt of a signed order. Only new hardware is solicited. Remanufactured or reconditioned hardware is technically unacceptable. Trade-in or exchange of old equipment is not available. Please submit one legible copy of your standard commercial hardware warranty with your quotation. One award will be made. The single evaluation criterion for award is lowest priced, technically acceptable. Submit questions regarding this acquisition in writing. All questions must be submitted to arrive no later than 9 a.m. Eastern Time, April 30, 2009. Questions received after this date and time will not be answered. All timely questions and their corresponding answers will be posted via amendment to this FEDBIZOPS announcement. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring this announcement for possible future amendments. Receipt of your quotation package is due no later than 11 a.m. Eastern Time, May 5, 2009.
