- The actual work consists of approximately 1, 112 total linear feet (ln. ft.) of slate and rock walkways ranging from 2 to 4 feet (ft.) wide. All repairs and installation of slate walkways will be consistent with existing slate tile and patterns. All existing and installation of new walkways will be standardized to 4 ft. wide. All slate surfaces' will be at or within 1 inch above adjacent grade and allow water run-off with no pooling of water. Bed course installation will consist of placing aggregate over prepared subgrade and compact in maximum 3 inch layer s and additional filler s as directed/needed. Finish base true to line, grade, and cross section, free from irregularities and loose materials. Solicitation to follow with specs when announcement has closed
