Description
COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION-TEMPORARY HOUSING/QUARTERS/LODGING FOR THE RUBY MOUNTAIN INTERAGENCY HOTSHOT CREW WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF ELKO, NV. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. CONTRACTOR QUOTES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED VIA FAX (775-753-0246) OR EMAIL (tarnberg@blm.gov) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation L09PS00398. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This combined synopsis is for Temporary Housing/Quarters/Lodging for the Ruby Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew within the city limits of Elko, NV. The period of performance is May 10, 2009 through October 1, 2009. LINE ITEM 0001-TEMPORARY HOUSING/QUARTERS/LODGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF ELKO, NV. 10 rooms (8 double occupancy and 2 single occupancy for a total of 18 people) are required for the entire period of performance (May 10, 2009-October 1, 2009). The rooms will be the crew members primary residence during fire season. The crew may be gone for periods of time ranging from a few days to twenty days on fire assignments. The crew members shall not be expected to check in and out during times of absence, and may be leaving personal belongings in the room. Parking accommodations will be required for up to eighteen vehicles when crew members are in residence at establishment. Each room is to include at a minimum:At least weekly maid service (to include change of bed linens and towels)Onsite laundry facilities (at employees expense or free if offered by establishment)Micro-fridgeMicrowaveAccess to amenities (i.e. swimming pool, spa, exercise facility) If there are any rules and regulations that need to be adhered to by the crew members, please submit these with your quote. Upon receipt of quotes, the BLM may request a visit to the proposed facility to ensure it meets the minimum requirements. Please identify in quote the per person per day rate based on occupancy requirements listed above.
