Description
FAR Part 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certification for Commercial Items BOUNDARY BRIDGE EXTENSION PACKAGE (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation: R6-MBS-9-31 - Boundary Extension Bridge Supply, Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 32. (iv) Solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for Small Business. Size Standard: 500 Employees. NAICS: 332312 (v) Deliver to the site of existing bridge. (To reach the site, travel 7 miles north of Darrington, Washington to State Route 530, then 10 miles east on Forest Service Road 26 where the bridge site is on the right, at the beginning of Road 25. Delivery date is August 7, 2009. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (viii) The evaluation will be on the technical capability and past performance of the offeror as well as price. For the Option Items, the Government will evaluate the pricing for the Base Item plus Option Item 1, the Base Item plus Option Item 2, and will consider Option Item 3 or Option Item 4 depending on whether Option Item 1 or 2 is selected. Evaluations of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise any of the options. If the Government exercises one or more of the options, it will be done within 60 calendar days of contract award. (ix) Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items, with its offer. (x) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xi) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
