Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41003-0122-9 for the provision of providing the services of Pharmacy Technician. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, Wisconsin. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year and four option years. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option year is 1152 sessions per service. A session is defined as one hour. The contractor will provide approximately 24 sessions per week. The number of hours per week shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The solicitation will be available on or about May 8, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 6, 2009. The solicitation is set-aside for small business. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621999, with a small business size standard of $10.0 million.
