- Amendment 002 to SAQMMA08R0318 SEE AMENDMENT 002 TO SAQMMA08R0318 WHICH EXTENDS THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE TO MAY 28, 2009 BY 2:00 PM EST. ------------------------------------------------------- SEE AMENDMENT 001 TO SAQMMA08R0318 ---------------------------------------------------------- ****THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE**** The Office of Acquisition (AQM) in the Department of State (DoS) on behalf of Bureau of Administration, Office of General Service Management (A/OPR/GSM) issues the attached Total Small Business competitive solicitation for waste disposal services at the Department of State, Washington, DC and DoS annexes in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The required services will include but are not limited to the full range of operations, haul and dispose of waste, maintenance, repair and materials/supplies, etc. The Department intends to award a single contract for this support for the Office of General Service Managment. The service provider and any prospective subcontractors will be required to posses a TOP SECRET level facility clearance at the time of award and must possess individual security clearances at the TOP SECRET level issued by the Defense Security Service prior to contract performance. Specifically designated personnel must also be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); TOP SECRET clearance and background checks for all employees will be required. Offerors are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Request for Proposal (RFP) and site visit travel to the Tour of Washington, DC site as outlined in the RFP. All offerors who anticipate on attending the Tour of Washington, DC site must e-mail two (2) names as a maximum of requested attendees to Mr. Edward Baran at baranej@state.gov. All questions concerning the Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be received on or before 4:00 pm EST on Monday, April 9, 2009. Please submit questions related to this Request for Proposal to Mr. Edward Baran via e-mail. No telephone call questions will be accepted. Proposals are due by 2:00 pm EST on April 27, 2009, to the attention of Mr. Edward Baran. This acquisition is advertised as a 100% Total Small Business set aside. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561210. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will require the submission of a technical proposal and price proposal. Evaluation and award will be on a best value basis. The solicitation will be issued via FEDBIZOPPS only. NO PAPER COPIES will be mailed. Placement of a firm fixed priced (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for a one-year base period, plus four (4) one-year options is anticipated. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION (CCR) IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
