Description
Battery Housing Assembly, p/o the AN/TVS-5( ) and AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sights This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the Battery Housing Assembly (NSN: 5855-01-147-6024 and p/n SM-D-850110), p/o the AN/TVS-5( ) and AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sights. The Battery Housing Assembly contains system ON/OFF tube brightness and reticle ON/OFF brightness control knobs. During operation, the AN/TVS-5( ) and AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sights provide improved night vision using available light from the night sky. The sights enable the user to perform normal tasks such as reading, walking, driving on the ground, or surveillance during times of darkness. The Government is seeking to identify vendors with the capability to provide this item in accordance with C-E LCMC drawings (SM-D-850110). The Government intends to purchase the Battery Housing Assembly using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period with an estimated maximum contract quantity of 2000 each over the contractual period. The contractor shall be able to deliver 50 units/month. If First Article Testing is required, the contractor shall start deliveries 150 days after the order is placed. Without First Article Testing, the contractor shall deliver 90 days after the order is placed. Interested sources must submit the following information, NLT 15 May 2009, to C-E LCMC LRC, IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II (Neeta Jonchhe), Bldg. 1201, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703, or e-mail to shrestha.jonchhe@us.army.mil: (1)Identification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUB Zone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. (2)The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item. (3)The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. (4)Past Performance for this or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part number, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience.
