- This is a combined synposis/solicitation amendment to W911QX-09-T-0081. The changes/adds are as follows: C.3.3 PHASE II (CLIN 0002) C.3.3.1 Upon completion of Phase I, the Contractor shall store the upper level part of the mezzanine as specified in Phase I, at their facility for period as little as 2 weeks and up to 24 weeks. The Government may exercise this option multiple times for any period of time up to the maximum of 6 months. The Contractor shall be responsible for any freight charges incurred during Phase II. The offeror shall provide a two week price for storage per C.3.3.1 which the Government may exercise once or multiple times but not to exceed 24 weeks in total. C.5 Government Furnished Space/Equipment: The Government will provide 300 square feet storage/staging area for the effort and the use of a 2 ton crane in the same location where the mezzanine is to be constructed. C.6 Delivery: C.6.1 The Contractor shall submit a draft production drawing to the COR for review and approval within 2 weeks of the award. The COR will review and provide approval/non-approval to the contractor within three (3) working days. The Contractor shall take the approved drawing and have it stamped by a licensed engineer with one week and provide that approved version to the COR within 1 week of receipt. The stamped drawing is the final version of the mezzanine to be furnished by the contractor under this contract. COMPLIANCE DRAWING SUBMISSION WITH PROPOSAL: The offeror shall submit a compliance drawing with its proposal detailing the types of components to be used for the mezzanine as well as their approach to the modular sections of the second floor per the drawing provided and C.3.1. SECTION (IX): (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision are as follows: 1. Compliance with the salient characteristics (technical acceptability) listed in specifications provided. 2. Past Performance What similar activities has the company been successful at in the past? Please provide corporate performance history to show the proven ability to meet these requirements without interruption. Offeror must provide at least two reference of previous sales of the same or similar product/service offered made during the past five years. Provide a point of contact and a telephone number, and 3. Price. Technical acceptability and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. CAUTION TO OFFERORS: The purchasing activity is not responsible for locating or securing any supporting information. Accordingly, to ensure that sufficient information is available, the offeror must furnish as part of its proposal all descriptive material (such as cuts, illustrations, drawings, or other information) necessary for the purchasing activity (i) to determine whether the product offered meets the specifications of the Request for Quotation; (ii) to establish exactly what the offeror proposes to furnish and what the Government would be binding itself to purchase by making an award, and (iii) to evaluate the proposal in accordance with the evaluation criteria.
