- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE EXISTING IDIQ CEMENT AND CONCRETE CONTRACT. REPAIR CONCRETE PAVEMENT - 70 & 80 ROWS ADN ON 90 ROW IN FRONT OF DOCKS 91 AND 93. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: a. The contractor shall replace full and partial 24'x 24'x 22" thick concrete slabs as marked by the government. Sawcut around slabs full depth to isolate slabs to be removed and prevent damage to adjacent concrete. Excavate subgrade and install 6" of base course under new concrete slabs. Protect existing dowels for re-use unless otherwise directed. b. The contractor shall construct 4" and 6" partial depth patches and spall repairs as marked by the government. Sawcut around spalls. c. The contractor shall clean, prepare and reseal all joints around new slabs, patches, spalls, and other joints as marked by the government. d. The contractor shall coordinate work schedule with the Airfield Manager to allow scheduling of downtime for taxiways, aircraft parking spots and aprons as necessary to provide contractor access. Construction shall be phased. e. The work is in a restricted area. The contractor shall request and schedule government provided security escorts for the duration of the project. f. Repair quantities shall not exceed the quantities in the Delivery Order unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: a. The government shall identify and mark the concrete slabs, spalls, patches and joints to be replaced or repaired. b. The government shall provide the required phasing of the work and identify the specific work areas. c. The government shall provide names and contact information for the Airfield Manager and the Security Escort Coordinator.
