Description
RFQ - Network Laptop System for MDB Airlocks, ECP-1690 Westinghouse Anniston (WA) is soliciting bids to install a network-laptop system with associated telephone jack in each of the four observation corridors outside airlocks (Airlocks 06-218, 220, 170 & 163) where the toxic entries are regularly implemented located in the Anniston Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (ANCDF). WA reserves the right not to award a subcontract after receipt of quotations. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION The magnitude of construction for this solicitation is between $25,000 and $100,000 STATEMENT OF WORK Provide all labor, materials to Install a network-laptop system with associated telephone jack in each of the four observation corridors outside airlocks (Airlocks 06-218, 220, 170 & 163) where the toxic entries are regularly implemented in accordance with the Engineering work package & associated procurement. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Electrical: The following steps will be performed by a WA Subcontractor and WA IT, as noted: 1.1 Install a new single gang box in each of the two observation corridors outside the airlocks 06-218(Door 265) and 06-170 (Door 123). 1.2 Install ¾" conduit from black box located in MDB 2nd floor near the door 225 to the new single Gang Boxes located in the observation corridors outside airlocks 06-218(Door 265) and 06-170 (Door 123). 1.3 Intall 1-Cat 5e cable in ¾" conduit and existing penetrations from black box located in MDB 2nd floor near the door 225 to the single gang boxes located in the observation corridors outside the airlocks 06-218(Door 265) and 06-170 (Door 123). This will be a total of 2 Cat 5e cable pulls. Notes: Do not terminate the cables; IT group will terminate the Cat 5e cable on both ends. 1.4 Install a new fiber patch panel in observation corridor outside airlocks 06-220 (Door 255). 1.5 Install ¾" conduit from black box located in MDB 2nd floor near the door 225 to the existing IT1-514 cable tray. 1.6 Install ¾" conduit from the existing IT-531G cable tray to the patch panel located in the observation corridors outside airlock 06-220 (Door 255). 1.7 Intall 6 strand single mode fiber optic cable in ¾" conduit and cable tray from the black box located in MDB 2nd floor near the door 225 to the patch panel located in the observation corridor outside the airlock 06-220(Door 255). Note: Do not terminate the fiber optic cable; IT group will terminate fiber optic cable on both ends. 1.8 Install a new single gang box in observation corridor outside the airlocks 06-163(Door 111). 1.9 Install ¾" conduit from existing telephone board (M-178 A-1, B-1) located in control room to the existing IT-1078 cable tray. 1.10 Install ¾" conduit from the existing IT1-076A cable tray to the new single gang box located in the observation corridor outside airlock 06-163 (Door 111). 1.11 Intall a Cat 5e cable in ¾" conduit and cable tray from existing telephone board located in the MDB control room to new single gang box located in the observation corridor outside airlock 06-163 (Door 111). Note: Do not terminate the cable; IT group will terminate cable on both ends. 1.12 Install one (1) new 20A, 125V, NEMA 5-20R duplex receptacle near the black LAN box in MDB 2nd floor observation corridor. 1.13 Install one (1) new 20A, 125V, NEMA 5-20R duplex receptacle for Laptop Computer in observation corridor 09-216 outside airlock 06-218 (Door 265). 1.14 Install one (1) new 20A, 125V, NEMA 5-20R duplex receptacle for Laptop Computer in observation corridor 09-204 outside airlock 06-220 (Door 255). 1.15 Replace the existing 20A QOB-GFI circuit breaker on circuit number 27 in existing panel SPS-PANB-127 with a new 20A QOB bolt-on circuit breaker. 1.16 Apply Lockout/Tag-outs to circuits 21, 27 in the existing panel SPS-PANB-127 and circuit 7 in the existing panel SPS-PANB-125 to ensure that all energy sources are removed for equipment that is to be worked on in accordance with WA procedure SAF-2.25. 1.17 Install 3/4-inch conduit from the existing MDB SPS-PANB-127 Panel to the existing PT1-526D. 1.18 Install 3/4-inch conduit from the existing PT1-527 cable tray the new 20A, 125V duplex receptacle located near the black LAN box in MDB observation corridor. 1.19 Install 3/C #12 AWG Cu cable (1H, 1N, and 1G-Green) in the 3/4-inch conduit and existing cable tray from the circuit breaker on circuit 27 in the existing MDB SPS-PANB-127 Panel to the new 20A, 125V duplex receptacle located the near black LAN box in MDB observation corridor. 1.20 Install 3/4-inch conduit from the existing duplex receptacle located in the observation corridor 09-216 outside airlock 06-218 (Door 265) to the new 20A duplex receptacle located in the observation corridor 09-216 outside airlock 06-218 (Door 265). 1.21 Install 3-1/C #12 AWG Cu (1H, 1N, and 1G-Green) in the 3/4-inch conduit from the existing SPS-PANB-127-21 duplex receptacle located in the observation corridor 09-216 outside airlock 06-218 (Door 265) to the new 20A, 125V duplex receptacle. 1.22 Install 3/4-inch conduit from the existing duplex receptacle located under stair in the observation corridor to the new 20A duplex receptacle located in the observation corridor 09-204 outside airlock 06-220 (Door 255). 1.23 Install 3-1/C #12 AWG Cu (1H, 1N, and 1G-Green) in the 3/4-inch conduit from the existing SPS-PANB-125-7 duplex receptacle located under stair in the observation corridor to the new 20A duplex receptacle in the observation corridor 09-204 outside airlock 06-220 (Door 255). 1.24 All penetrations shall be sealed. A sealing material such as "Fire Foam" should be employed. 1.25 Label new duplex receptacles with the appropriate circuit no "SPS-PANB-127-27", "SPS-PANB-127-21" & "SPS-PANB-125-7". 1.26 Conductors shall be color coded or identified with phase tape as follows: Voltage Conductor Color 120/208V A Phase Black B Phase Red C Phase Blue Neutral White Ground Green 1.27 Install a NEMA 12 box for laptop computer in each of the four observation corridors outside airlocks (Airlocks 06-218, 220, 170 & 163) where the toxic entries are regularly implemented. 1.28 Install a NEMA 12 box for laptop computer in the PMB medical exam room #1. 1.29 After job has been completed, remove the LO/TO. General: 1. All testing and inspections to ensure that the final installation performs as designed. Period of Performance Work to commence by May 19, 2009 and complete by May22, 2009.
