Description: This is a notice of sole source award for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. Funds are currently available. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813910. The business size standard is $7.0 M. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following items: Line Items: 1. Cyber Symposium Registration We Offutt AFB intend to award a sole source award to Armed Forces Communication & Electronics Association. The Armed Forces Communication & Electronics Association was selected as the primary coordinator for this conference due to their unique expertise in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence and global security. The organization is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships. When selecting the Armed Forces Communication & Electronics Association as the primary coordinator for this conference, USSTRATCOM and the Global Innovation and Strategy Center felt this vendor was best qualified due to established relationships already had with military, government, industry, and academia. These established relationship in turn increase the probability of a successful symposium. In the initial planning phase of the Cyberspace Symposium the Air Force made efforts to research additional sources for similar vendors that could coordinate the Cyberspace Symposium. It was found that no other vendors could provide the unique characteristics that the Armed Forces Communication & Electronics Association can provide. We are not currently soliciting quotations for this requirement. This is notice of award. Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to WWW.CCR.GOV to register prior to submitting quote. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE ONE (1) CONTRACT BUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER PARTIAL BIDS. The clause at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (price will be the only evaluation factor): FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and the clause at FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
