- Item 0001: Generic Master NSN: 4940-01-083-6052RN; Servicing Platform, Self-propelled IAW Commercial Item Description A-A-60004, for Type II (60 foot boom), dated 27 Aug 1997. The work platform shall be hydrostatic drive, gasoline-engine- or diesel-engine-driven, four wheels and two axles, two-wheel-driven type. The work platform shall consist of a telescopic boom, with a basket type enclosed platform. The platform shall be capable of rotating 360 degrees with a 500-pound (lb) 227 kilogram (kg)) rated work load maximum boom reach, and a chassis. The work platform shall be provided with, but not limited to: a swing brake, chassis brakes, alternating power supply, two-wheel steering, horn, ground work area controls for all platform functions, and forward and reverse speeds. Basic quantity: 14 each. Delivery Schedule: 120 days ARO. Option I qty: 1-3 each, Option II qty: 1-3 each, and Option III qty: 1-3 each. Options may be exercised for AF (Air Force) or FMS (Foreign Military Sales) requirements. Assets will be shipped FOB Origin to multiple shipping locations. The approximate issue date of solicitation is 1 May 2009 with approximate response date of 1 June 2009. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quote. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in RFQ. Quotes will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
