- Description
- The intent of this contract is to furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to construct thirty five concrete picnic table pads; seven 12 ft x14 ft pads and twenty eight 10 ft x12 ft pads. Major items of work include but are not limited to: excavation, placing and compacting 112 tons of ¾ inch aggregate base, constructing forms, placing 6,202 linear feet of No. 4 rebar, placing and finishing 85 cubic yards of concrete. Thirty five concrete picnic tables shall be moved from proposed pad locations and then returned once concrete pads have cured. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located at the Plaskett Meadows Campground on the Grindstone Ranger District of the Mendocino National Forest. To reach the project from Willows, California: take Highway 162 West twenty one miles to the junction of County Road 306; proceed North on County Road 306 four miles to the junction of Forest Highway 7; proceed West on Forest Highway 7 fourteen miles (to the end of the pavement); continue west on Forest Highway 7 twelve miles to the entrance of Plaskett Meadows Campground. This is an RFQ unrestricted under the Competitive Demonstration Program. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date is June 15, 2009. CONTRACT TIME: 30 Calendar days. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-proposal tour will not be conducted. BONDING IS REQUIRED of the successful offeror at time of award. A bid guarantee is not required with offeror's submitted proposal. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about May 6, 2009. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
