- This sources sought is solely for planning purposes and does not constitute an invitation for bid nor request for proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. The information you provide may be used by the Government in developing an acquisition strategy and purchase description. Industry is encouraged to respond with information not constrained by proprietary data rights. However, if proprietary data is included in your reply, please mark it appropriately. The following is a list of the governments minimum requirements for the Fingerprint Enrollment System: 1. Vendor must be listed in the FBIs catalog of certified vendors and comply with the FBIs IAFIS Appendix F specifications. The system must have a valid Certificate of Net-worthiness in order to connect to the NIPRNET. Additionally, the system must contain necessary software to send fingerprints electronically to the Army Single Store and Forward Server. 2. The system shall have a minimum of 500 ppi resolution, allow for a foolproof fingerprint acquisition, and function in high volume processing environments. 3. System should be user friendly and be available with USB 2.0 interface. Please provide the following information in response to this notice: 1. Technical specifications for your product including drawings, test data, and descriptive literature. 2. If available, please send your catalog (to include pictures of your product) and pricelist. Responses should contain company name, address, and point of contact, cage code, phone number, fax number, and business size.
