- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Description: Demolition Debris Dumpster Pick-up/Disposal at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Empire, MI 49630.This service involves the pickup, disposal, and return of 30 yard park owned dumpsters filled with demolition debris. The dumpsters are to be hauled to a land fill for proper disposal of all materials associated with the demolition of 9 structures, at two locations within three miles of each other. There will be no known hazardous materials involved, as all hazardous materials will be removed by a qualified contractor prior to the demolition of the buildings. All items will be disposed of at a land fill capable of proper recycling of all refuse and disposal under State and Federal regulations and laws. Contractor will dispose of all collected refuse at a landfill that has an active recycling, sorting, and transfer station operation. It will be the contractor's responsibility to transport the dumpsters to the job sites from 12447 Wisniewski Rd., Empire MI 49630 and return the containers at the end of the contract. Locations: The locations involved are as follows: 1.8807 Esch Road, Honor, MI. 496402.9959 M-22 N., Honor, MI. 49640 The solicitation number for this project is Q6620090003. The National Park Service requires a fixed-price contract identifying a per Pickup/Disposal cost (CLIN 0001). Pickup/Disposals are estimated to be daily. Estimated Contract duration is May 13, 2009 to Aug 31, 2009. The NAICS code for this project is 562111, Size Standard is $12.5 Million Average Annual, and is 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-25, dated April 22,2008, and are subject to the provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is not part of this solicitation.
