- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to purchase 2 each FLUKE NET DTX-1800-MS 120 kits with multimode and singlemode FM (part #280631), 100 each VIKING ELE PF-6A Powerfail bypass system connects 6 lines 120VAC 24-48VDC C/W Adapter (part #504358), and 200 each CORTELCO 255447VBA20M 2554 Wall telephone bell ringer and volume control, red (part #215988). All part numbers and item descriptions are derived from Anixter Inc. All equipment will be delivered to Sacramento, CA 95826. Vendors must submit quotes to include all shipping costs. Vendors will be allowed to quote brand name or equal. To be considered for award, offers of equal products, including equal products of the brand name manufacturer must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified. Vendors must clearly identify the item by brand name if any, make or model number, and clearly describe any modifications the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements and mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modifications. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an equal product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in this solicitation. The following provisions are hereby incorporated into the solicitation: 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). All quotes must be received by May 8, 2009 before 2:00pm PST. Quotes may be submitted via fax to 805-594-6348.
