Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Responsive Systems (RSI), 281 Highway 79 N, Morganville, NJ 07751. This purchases will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,” to purchase additional site licenses for Buffer Pool Tool System software to support the Document Management Facility (DMF) workload that is moving from the National Computer Center to the Durham Support Center (DSC). The software at the DSC must mirror the software that is currently installed at the NCC if SSA is going to accomplish its goal of establishing a co-processing environment. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award of the product and maintenance under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will NOT be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by May 5, 2009, 12 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
