Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Hart Scientific, American Fork, UT for the acquisition of three (3) Thermometer (Black Stack) Base Units (P/N 1560), two (2) 2-Channel SPRT Module (P/N 2560), one (1) 2-Channel High Temp PRT Module (P/N 2561), one (1) 2-Channel Standard Thermister Module (P/N 2563), one (1) 2-Channel Precision TC Module (P/N 2565), two (2) Extended Communications Module (P/N 3560) and one (1) 0 to 1620 C 2.5 Ohm SPRT Probe (P/N 5685-S) to support NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) program. These units are used in combination with other standards to measure and record a wide spectrum of measurements at specified conditions with varying requirements. The Government intends to procure the DC Reference Standards and Low Thermal Test Lead sets under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
