- Description
- The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), has a requirement for a Contractor to Paint Antenna Towers at the Saipan and Tinian Transmitting Stations located in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials/supplies, services, permits, supervision, and all other required items necessary to paint Towers A, B, C D and E at Saipan site and Towers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 at Tinian Site. The Base award will consist of painting all five antenna towers at Saipan with a protective coating system that consists of Primer Recoatable Expoxy and Top Coat Tile-Clad High Solids. The contract award will also include two optional items as follows: Painting antenna towers at Tinian with a protective coating system that consists of Primer Recoatable Epoxy - Option 1 includes painting antenna towers 1 through 6, and Option 2 includes painting antenna towers 7 through 13. The contract term will be 365 days after date of award for the Base items, with an option to extend for an additional 365 days for the above optional work. The Solicitation is expected to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunites (FedBizOpps) website on or about on May 18, 2009. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for information or inquiry.
