- Description
- This is a Design-Build project that will provide a new Radar Approach Control/Digital Air Surveillance Radar Facility near the existing control tower. The facility will house the air traffic control training functions in addition to the DASR/RAPCON functions. Facility construction will be composed of a concrete foundation, structural steel framing, masonry/concrete veneer, standing seam metal roof, and a parking area. In addition, two existing golf course holes must be relocated in accordance with the Altus AFB 2030 plan. All technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. The solicitation is to issue on or about 19 May 2009. Pre-proposal conference and site visit will be addressed within the solicitation. This procurement is unrestricted.
