- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE SOLE SOUCE 8(a) UNDER PROJECT #UHHZ 090129. The 78th Contracting Squadron, Robins AFB, GA intends to issue award of a 8(a) Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price contract to American Contractor and Technology, Inc. 1101 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Suite 315, Gulf Breeze FL 32561-4859. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310. This project consists of, but is not limited to, Mill and Overlay (2" thick) of approximately 7,950 sq. yds ‘Type F' Hot Mix Asphalt at Taxiway "J1" on asphalt edges. Apply Sealant after curing. Replace 4 each 18 ft. x 20 ft. x 16" thick PCC slabs with 700 psi. Flexural Strength concrete, Remove, clean-out, replace backer-rod and joint seal approximately 4,600 linear feet with Type 4 fuel- resistant Joint Sealer. Mill, and Overlay approximately 9435 sq. yds (2" thick) of ‘Type F' Hot Mix Asphalt at Taxiway "J2". Apply Sealant after curing. Mill, and Overlay approximately 8215 sq. yds (4" thick) of ‘Type F' Hot Mix Asphalt at Taxiway "J2". Apply Sealant after curing. Mill, and Overlay approximately 3550 sq. yds (2" thick) of ‘Type F' Hot Mix Asphalt at "J1" U-Shaped Road between Taxiway "J1" and Taxiway "J2" and the shoulder between "J1" and "J2". Apply Sealant after curing. Contractor is responsible to install all tie-downs, grounding rods and any lighting that are disturbed or damaged in this project. Contractor to replace all pavement paint markings to Air Force standards. OPTION 1 a. Mill, and Overlay approximately 975 sq. yds (2" thick) of ‘Type F' Hot Mix Asphalt at Taxiway "J1". Apply Sealant after curing. Remove, clean-out, replace backer-rod and joint seal approximately 7225 linear feet with Type 4 fuel- resistant Joint Sealer at Robins AFB. Magnitude of this estimated cost. The Government anticipates award in June 2009.
