Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to purchase standard commercial adult vaccines that have been manufactured under a current product license issued by the U.S Food and Drug Administration. The CDC anticipates awarding multiple contracts to various vaccine manufacturers and/or distributors for the following vaccines: (1) Hepatitis A adult vaccine (2) Hepatitis B adult vaccine (3) Combination Hepatitis A&B vaccine (4) Pneumococcal Polysaccharide vaccine (5) Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids vaccine for adults (6) Herpes Zoster vaccine (7) Tetanus Toxoid, Reduced Diphtheria Toxoid with Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed (8) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (9) Meningococcal Conjugate (10) Quadrivalent Human Papillomavirus types 6, 11, 16 and18 recombinant vaccine (11) Varicella Vaccines purchased through this contracting vehicle are acquired for the CDC / National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCRID's ) adult vaccine program. The CDC NCIRD provides vaccines for state run health departments across all fifty states, several city or municiple public health care programs, and former U.S Territories - as provided under Section 317(j) of the Public Health Service Act. Information regarding maximum estimated quantities, minimum order sizes, and shelf life (post dated) requirements are listed in the RFP. Vaccines shall be shipped F.O.B. destination. The contract period of performance is twelve (12) consecutive months, beginning on or about 7/1/09. Offerors must provide evidence of current Food and Drug Administration (FDA) product licenses for all vaccines. Solicitation 2009-M-11276 will be posted on the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 5/11/2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency if received on or before the designated due date.
