- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number: W9114F-09-T-0052 issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). A firm-fixed price type contract will result from this solicitation. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.eps.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to current information. This acquisition will be conducted using Full and Open competition procedures. The Europe Regional Contracting Office has a requirement to purchase the following items: Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: CLIN 0001, Portable Dental Unit. Item#2010, Portable II Self-Contained Modular Treatment Unit. Electrical Requirements 230V/50Hz; 2 copies each of Operator and Maintenance/Service Manuals in English Language; Display, Control Labels and ALL Software Version Copies must be in English Language for operating and subsystem components, if required. Warranty statement will be provided in English. CLIN 0002: Shipping Costs: The place(s) of delivery and acceptance will be U.S. Hospital Landstuhl, Regional Medical Center, PBM Bldg 3739, 66849 Landstuhl Kirchberg, Germany. The contractor will provide the earliest delivery date. All offerors must quote FOB Destination, LRMC, ATTN: MMB, CMR 402, APO AE 09180 Germany. The following Clauses and Provisions apply to this requirement: FAR 52.204-7. Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Alt I), with your offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items; additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are: 52.222.19, Child Labor-Corporation with Authorities and Remedies (E.O.13126); 52.225-13 Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration ; DFARS 252.212-7001 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are: 252. 232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. Additional contract requirement(s) or terms and conditions: Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable responsible offeror. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) Far Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial items. This competitive acquisition is unrestricted. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration with the CCR may be accomplish using their web page www.ccr.gov or by calling (888) 227-2423.
