- Rock Island Contracting Command (RICC) intends to issue solicitation W52P1J-09-R-0065 for base operations and security support services at various locations throughout the country of Kuwait (K-BOSSS) at a forthcoming date. This pre-solicitation announcement is to request comments from interested parties on the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for K-BOSSS. Comments are to be sent in writing to the POCs no later than June 02, 2009. Please note this is a draft only. The Government will not accept proposals at this time. It is the intent of the Government to issue a formal solicitation soon after the comment period expires. Interested companies should respond by emailing the Contracting POCs. Please reference K-BOSSS Draft RFP in the subject of your e-mail. Comments on the DRFP are requested to be provided no later than 2 June 2009. Previously, a sources sought announcement was issued on October 2, 2008 requesting information needed by the Government prior to release of a potential solicitation. Also, a site visit was conducted in Kuwait on 23-27 of February. This announcement does not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor to pay for any costs incurred as a result of this notice.
