This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-26. The solicitation number is Q8825090027 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). NAICS code: 335312. No paper copies will be sent. Notifications of any changes will be made as modifications to this announcement. To receive an award, vendor must maintain a current registration at www.ccr.gov. The National Park Service, Yosemite National Park (YOSE), has identified a need for the purchase and delivery of two (2) air cooled diesel generators. NAICS Code: 335312. SECTION C - DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Deutz Air Cooled Diesel Engine rated 28 HP at 1800 RPM, includes manifold muffler with spark arrester, 12 volt starter and alternator, v-belt guard, dry type air cleaner assembly, blower ring guide, engine start/stop solenoid, SAE #4 flywheel housing, SAC 8/10 flywheel. 10 KW Marathon generator rated 10KW continuous duty, 80 degree C rise, 1.0 PH tropical insulation rated 120/240 volt, 1 Phase. 35 gallon sub base fuel tank with D-rings, lockable fuel cap located on fuel filter side in middle, fuel sight gauge, inline filter fuel sender system and safety. Lockable battery box. 30 H battery and cables, 1800 RPM buffer kit, lifting bail, operations and maintenance manual, and painted Deutz slate gray to match 6 existing generators.
